Showman Is Bringing A New Kind of Brunch to Sundays
Brunch is the most important meal of the day…..
This statement may or may not be scientifically proven or accurate, but it is an objective fact that brunch is the most fun meal of the week. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all great, but none of them are serving up cocktails with benedict, live DJ’s with french toast, or macaroni and cheese with a side of a mimosa (or several).
The Showman team likes a bit of “extra” – always have, and always will. So, when they started brainstorming ideas for a Sunday brunch, they didn’t want a basic menu or a regular-degular experience. They figured why just have art on the walls, when you can have live paintings? Why play a mix when you can have some of the Bahamas’ top artists come and perform in-house? And, why have regular macaroni and cheese, when you can toss in a bit of truffle and jerk?….
The name “Bougie Brunch” may be a bit tongue in cheek, especially since the Showman experience is all about being comfortable, feeling welcomed, and letting the Showman team take excellent care of you while you dine and vibe, but Chef Romero and his team wanted to create an elevated dining experience.
Everything is made by hand, with fresh and locally sourced ingredients, whenever possible. From the brioche bread of the Banana Almond Crunch French Toast, to the avocado mousse and bacon jam that adorns the smothered conch and coconut infused grits – every dish and every component is crafted from scratch. And, the Showman team is always thinking up new and innovative ways to improve, evolve and elevate a visit to The Restaurant.
The Showman “Bougie Brunch” starts at 11am, each Sunday and lasts all day. Valet is free, the cocktails are flowing, and there is something new each week….
