The Showman Restaurant is home to the works of a number of talented artists, including Angelika Wallace-Whitfield, Allan Wallace, Kara Victoria and a weekly rotation of singers, and musicians each Monday during the Showman Flights & Bites Jazz and Open Mic Night. This summer, the Showman team will welcome even more talented men and women to join their stage during their Artist Hub.
Each Thursday, starting on June 2, singers, musicians, performing artists, rappers, spoken word poets, comedians, artists and other creatives will be invited to express themselves via their chosen medium.
“I always envisioned The Restaurant as being about more than just amazing food and drinks.” noted Chef Romero Dorsette, owner of the Showman Restaurant. “I always wanted it to be a place where people can come together, express themselves, have a good time and create memories. That is why we constantly invite guest chefs, small business owners, and performers into the restaurant. For us, this is about building a sense of community – a sense of culture. And, we cannot wait to see what talented men and women hit the stage.”
The series is still a few weeks away, but there is still time to sign up to take part. Persons interested in showcasing their talent can contact the Showman team at 801-7751 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
