Preheat oven to 400 F.
In a medium mixing bowl season the chick peas with oil, salt and black pepper. Then spread them evenly on a nonstick baking tray.
Bake the chickpeas in preheated oven for 10 min. Using a spatula stir them and again continue baking for 10 more minutes.
In pan, over medium heat with oil. Once heated, sauté onions, curry powder, garlic and ginger until translucent.
Then add tikka masala, roasted chickpeas and coconut milk, stir until well coated. Allow to cook for 6-8 minutes. Add lemon juice.
Serve with rice.
