Preheat a medium sized skillet to medium high heat.
Generously rub porcini spice rub evenly over salmon.
Add 2 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp butter to the preheated pan. Gently rest salmon in hot pan, flesh side down first.
Immediately reduce heat to medium/medium low heat. Cook for one minute and thirty seconds on each side or longer (depending on the level of doneness you prefer).
Remove from hot pan and let rest for two minutes.
Serve and enjoy with orange glaze over the top or on the side.
