Atreaeu Emmanuel Davis, better known as BahaMian Trae, loves his Abaco family island roots, his rich Bahamian culture and colorful Bahamian dialect. After releasing a music video on Facebook in January of 2015 called “ Muggle Like Me “ on the Bam Bam Riddim, Trae as he is often called, became an instant hit with his high school peers. In the span of just a few weeks, BahaMian Trae connected with Charlie Brown and DJ Reality, who motivated the young recording artist to advance in his musical career.
Some of his first singles included “GONE“ feat Charlie Brown & “BahaMian Story”, which went on to become hits around the country. His talent also led to Trae eventually working with Bahamian legends K.B and the late Ronnie Butler.
BahaMian Trae eventually went on to be nominated for the People’s Choice Award at the 17th Annual Cacique Awards in addition to being nominated for the Rising Star Award at the ICON Awards. Has has also gained international recognition over the years, and opened shows for artists like Migos, Alkaline, and Christopher Martin, just to name a few.
